In The Game, Inc. announces the release of the Parkhurst 50th Anniversary Insert Set
May 22, 2000 (Toronto) In The Game, Inc. the manufacturer of Be A Player hockey
announced today a licensing arrangement with Parkhurst Product Inc. which will
allow In The Game to include an insert set commemorating the 50th Anniversary of
Parkhurst hockey cards in their upcoming release of their Be A Player Memorabilia
2000-2001 series.
"Parkhurst, the grand-daddy of hockey trading cards, is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of their first series of hockey cards the 1950-51 season and In The Game is going to help with the celebration", said Dr. Brian H. Price, President, In The Game, Inc. The first cards in the Parkhurst 50th Anniversary set will be found as inserts in the Be A Player Memorabilia 2000-2001 Series to be released this August. The Parkhurst 50th Anniversary insert set will contain 225 cards with the first 100 cards in the Memorabilia 2000-2001 series. The ratio of these inserts will be 1 card in 5 packs. The balance of the 225 card set will be found in the other Be A Player releases for the 2000-2001season. A complete checklist of the first 100 cards in the Parkhurst 50th Anniversary Insert Series will be listed on the Be A Player website, www.baptradingcards.com in the near future.
