Hockey card collectors who have purchased boxes of 2001-02 Parkhurst have
had an opportunity to add a little something extra to their collections. Or
maybe we should say a "big" something extra.
In addition to the super-attractive base set, in addition to the
short-printed rookies, in addition to all the great memorabilia and
autographed cards, in addition to the He Shoots, He Scores points cards...
in addition to all this, there were a limited number of redemption cards
good for an enlarged and autographed card of one of three hockey legends.
The three players in question? Bernie "Boom Boom" Geoffrion, Jean Beliveau
and the late Maurice "The Rocket" Richard. Those fortunate enough to pull
one of these redemption cards can send them to In the Game in exchange for
an enlarged 8 by 10-inch versions of one of their vintage Parkhurst cards.
Best of all, these supersized cards have been autographed!
There are a total of 300 Geoffrion redemption cards, 100 Beliveau redemption
cards, and 50 Richard redemption cards.
All details regarding this redemption program are outlined on the backs of
the redemption cards.
