In The Game Heads To Montreal's Collectors' International With Another Impressive Redemption Program(Toronto, ON; October 1, 2002): In the Game, Inc., the manufacturer of Be A Player and Parkhurst brands of hockey cards, is pleased to announce its participation in Montreal's premier sports collectibles show, the seventh annual Collectors' International scheduled for October 18-20 at the Hippodrome.In the Game will be offering their popular redemption card program at their booth. It will be similar to what has been so successful at dozens of shows across North America including previous Collectors' International shows. Participants are asked to purchase various Be A Player or Parkhurst products from dealers on the show floor. They must open the packs and boxes at the In the Game booth and can exchange their wrappers for extremely limited and sequentially numbered versions of the base cards from the new 425-card First Edition set (numbered to 10). These cards feature special foil stamping commemorating the show, will be dispensed randomly, and will only be available at the Collectors' International. "The province of Quebec and the city of Montreal have always been known as hockey hotbeds," observed In the Game's President, Dr. Brian H. Price, "and that has never changed. There are many loyal collectors in the region and this event presents the ideal opportunity for them to follow their passions. We're happy we can be a part of the event because interaction with such enthusiastic hockey collectors benefits us as much as it does them." The Be A Player and Parkhurst products that collectors can purchase to qualify for the program include the new 2002-03 First Edition as well as the entire 2001-02 product lineup including: Memorabilia Series; Parkhurst; Between the Pipes; Signature Series; Update Series; and Ultimate Memorabilia.
