In The Game, Inc. announces the Be A Player Memorabilia Rookie and Traded SetFebruary 21st, 2000 (Toronto)-In The Game, Inc. the manufacturer of Be A Player trading cards announced today the upcoming release of its Rookie and Traded Set to complete the successful Memorabilia series released in November. The box set will be comprised of 100 cards numbered from 301-400 of NHL rookies and traded players. Also included in the box set will be random inserts including silver and gold parallels along with special Memorabilia inserts described below.Because of the early release of the Memorabilia series in November, In The Game, Inc. was not able to include many of this yearÕs rookie crop. The Rookie and Traded set now allows collectors to complete their Memorabilia set. Also being introduced is the next generation of Memorabilia cards from In The Game, The Teammates Insert series will feature double pieces of game-used All-Star Game Jerseys and game-used Regular Season Jerseys of teammates. Imagine a Steve Yzerman/Brendan Shanahan double Regular Season Jersey Card or a Jagr/Bure double All-Star Jersey Card.. If these werenÕt enough, how about double game-used All-Star Jersey Cards. Eric Lindros with game-used pieces from both the Boston All-Star Game and the Vancouver All-Star Game. "Collectors have been asking us to do a second series of Memorabilia" said Dr. Brian H. Price, President of In The Game, Inc. "this is our response to their wishes. We felt that a Rookie and Traded set with special inserts would complete the Memorabilia series. All-Star Cards Teammates Cards include: Gretzky/Modano, Forsberg/Kariya, Bure/Sundin, Jagr/Bure, Lindros/Messier to name a few. Double Jersey Cards include: Jagr, Lindros, Forsberg, Roy, Kariya, Sundin, Yzerman, Modano, Gretzky, Selanne, Hasek, Bure, and others these inserts will be extremely limited. A complete checklist will be available after the March 16th trade deadline. In The Game will be adding traded players to the set right up until the trade deadline.
