Be A Player Millennium Signature Series Scores With Collectors On All-Star WeekendFebruary 7th, 2000 (Toronto)- The new Be A Player Millennium Signature Series was released at the All Star Fantasy Show in Toronto to enthusiastic collectors. This latest release from In The Game, Inc. continues the Be A Player tradition of one signed card in every pack. Collectors crowded the In The Game, Inc. booth during the February 2nd to 6th show for a glimpse of the new release and to take part in the company's wrapper redemption program.Fans could purchase Be A Player packs at the show and redeems the wrappers for a foil-stamped and numbered card out of 25. Each player in the 250-card set was featured on five different foil colors - a different color for each day. Opening night on Wednesday featured Silver redemption cards followed by Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald and Gold on Sunday. It was the most ambitious wrapper redemption ever done at a show. "With the All Star game in our backyard, we really wanted to offer attendees something special, said In The Game, Inc. President, Brian Price. "We knew the product would be very well received but the redemption program exceeded our greatest expectations." Collectors were in for another surprise from In The Game, Inc. when it was announced that 22 NHL players had signed game-used jersey cards numbered out of 10. These cards were randomly inserted into packs of the Millennium Signature Series. These signed cards are highly collectible and are in addition to the regular jersey cards of 32 different players included in the series. The release also includes cards made from jersey emblems, numbers, game-used sticks and goaltender blockers and catching gloves. The 22 different signed jersey cards feature the following players:
