New Memorabilia Update Series loaded with rookies!

(Toronto, ON; June 11, 2003): In The Game, Inc., the manufacturer of Be A Player and Parkhurst brands of hockey cards, has just shipped its newest product the 2002-03 Be A Player Memorabilia Update Series.

This factory set consists of 100 cards and is designed as an extension to the 300-card base set in the Memorabilia Series that was issued in November 2002. The Update Series is numbered from 301-400 and features the same card design.

Best of all for fans of rookie cards, there are an incredible 85 rookie cards in this set. When combined with the 30 rookie cards available in the original Memorabilia Series, it makes for an incredible 115 rookie cards, the most of any hockey set in 2002-03.

"This update set is the direct result of our commitment to covering every possible rookie in the NHL," said Dr. Brian H. Price, President of In The Game. "I'm certain that collectors will not only appreciate that commitment, but they will also appreciate the value of this set. That value is also enhanced by the fact that the print-run was based on the number of orders we received. As these rookies continue to emerge, demand will go up but the supply will never change."

Promising rookies in the set include Jason Bacashihua, Tomas Surovy, Simon Gamache, Ari Ahonen, and Igor Radulov. High-profile veterans in the Update Series who recently changed teams include Ed Belfour, Doug Gilmour, Tony Amonte and Mike Dunham.

Collectors had the opportunity to order the Memorabilia Update Series by filling in the ballot card inserted in every pack of the Memorabilia Series and submitting it to In The Game.

Also, every collector who placed an order automatically became eligible for a draw to win a framed uncut sheet of all 100 Memorabilia Update Series cards. Collectors could also enter without purchasing a set by filling in the aforementioned ballot card.

That draw has been conducted and In The Game would like to congratulate Don Cornford of Arcadia, California as the winner of the framed uncut sheet.
