C'est Bon! In The Game's Show Redemption Program Comes Back To Montréal For The Annual Collectors' InternationalIn The Game will be in Montréal on October 24-26 for the 8th Annual Collectors' International Show. Click here for details on our newest Show Redemption Program!(Toronto, ON; October 9, 2003): In The Game, Inc., the manufacturer of In The Game, Be A Player and Parkhurst hockey cards, is pleased to announce its participation in Montreal's premier sports collectibles show, the eighth annual Collectors' International scheduled for October 24-26 at the Pierre Charbonneau Centre located within the shadows of Olympic Stadium. In The Game will once again be offering their popular redemption card program at their booth. Participants are asked to purchase specific In The Game, Be A Player or Parkhurst products from dealers on the show floor. When they open the packs and boxes at the In The Game booth, they can exchange their wrappers for extremely limited and sequentially-numbered versions of the base cards from the new 600-card In The Game-Action base set (numbered to 10). These cards feature special foil stamping commemorating the show, will be dispensed randomly, and will only be available at the Collectors' International.. In addition, all 76 non-memorabilia foil insert cards from In The Game-Action will also be stamped and numbered to 10. They will be randomly interspersed with the base cards. Eligible products for participating in the show redemption program include the brand new 2003-04 In The Game-Action Series, 2002-03 Ultimate Memorabilia 3rd Edition, 2002-03 Signature Series, 2002-03 In The Game-Used, 2002-03 Parkhurst, 2002-03 Memorabilia Series, 2002-03 Between the Pipes and 2002-03 Parkhurst Retro. No other brands will be eligible. Collectors who open packs of In The Game-Action will receive one redemption card for each wrapper submitted. Those who open Ultimate Memorabilia 3rd Edition will receive 10 redemption cards per wrapper, while opening In The Game-Used will net collectors five cards per wrapper. Collectors who open 2002-03 Signature Series get two cards per wrapper while collectors who open Parkhurst Retro, Memorabilia Series, Between the Pipes or Parkhurst will get one redemption card for every two wrappers. For the first time ever, collectors at the Montréal show will also have the option of receiving a one-of-one game-used memorabilia card from a selection of 220 different inserts found in the In The Game-Action brand. These memorabilia cards feature all of today's biggest NHL stars including Mario Lemieux, Steve Yzerman, Martin Brodeur, and Peter Forsberg. "When it comes to passion for the sport of hockey and passion for hockey collectibles, Montréal and Toronto are the two strongest markets anywhere," observes In the Game's President, Dr. Brian H. Price, "That's why we are happy to be back at the Collector's International again this fall. Being able to offer the one-of-one memorabilia cards for the first time in that market is also exciting. The interaction we will generate there will be invaluable for us." To receive a one-of-one game-used memorabilia card, show-goers must open two boxes of 2003-04 In The Game-Action or two boxes of 2002-03 Signature Series. They can also receive a one-of-one memorabilia card for opening three boxes of 2002-03 Parkhurst Retro, Between the Pipes, Parkhurst or Memorabilia Series. Those who open a box of Ultimate Memorabilia 3rd Edition will get two one-one memorabilia cards while opening one box of In The Game-Used will qualify for one one-of-one card. All boxes must be opened at the same time and all wrappers must be submitted to In The Game personnel. Boxes MUST be shrink wrapped with the BAP logo on the boxes in order to qualify. Both the traditional redemption cards numbered out of 10 as well as the one-of-one cards will be available through all three days of the show or while supplies last. Those receiving one-of-one memorabilia cards will not be eligible for the traditional redemption cards numbered out of 10. Elements of this program are subject to change at any point leading up to the show.
