Hockey Lives! Heroes and Prospects by In The Game Wrapper Redemption Program for the 2004 Toronto Fall Expo

(Toronto, ON; November 2, 2004): In The Game, Inc., manufacturers of In The Game and Parkhurst brands of hockey cards, will once again offer their popular Wrapper Redemption Program for the 2004 Toronto Sports Card and Memorabilia Fall Expo taking place November 12 to 14 at the International Centre.

This version of the Program will focus solely on In The Game's upcoming 2004-05 Heroes and Prospects brand. Consisting of a combination of retired hockey legends, top AHL players and blue-chip junior prospects, Heroes and Prospects is scheduled for release just prior to the Expo. No other brands will be eligible for this Program.

"Given the circumstances surrounding the NHL lockout, we had to re-tool our program for the Expo," said In The Game President Dr. Brian H. Price. "To make it work, we went back to the way we used to structure the program and offer different foil-stamped versions of the same cards on each day of the show. Combined with the one-of-one memorabilia cards, they offer terrific value for those who open Heroes and Prospects at our booth."

Collectors who purchase packs and/or boxes of 2004-05 Heroes and Prospects from dealers at the show can open them at the In The Game booth located in the corporate section near the autograph table. In exchange for the wrappers, they will receive special foil-stamped Heroes and Prospects base cards commemorating the 2004 Fall Expo. These cards will be sequentially numbered to 10 with many "one-of-one" cards randomly mixed in.

The Heroes and Prospects base set consists of 180 cards. Mixed in with these cards will be the 20-card Top Prospects Game non-memorabilia insert set. These will be numbered to 10 as well.

The foil stamping on the cards will feature individual logos for each day of the show using silver foil and sequential numbering to 10. The 1/1 cards will be stamped and numbered in gold foil and will be mixed in among the cards numbered to 10 on all three days of the show.

Collectors will also have the option of receiving special foil-stamped one-of-one game-used memorabilia cards from Heroes and Prospects. To qualify, collectors must open two sealed boxes of Heroes and Prospects at the In The Game booth. More than 300 different game-used memorabilia cards will be available including cards of Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, Bobby Orr, Patrick Roy, and Mario Lemieux.

All boxes must be opened at the same time and all wrappers must be submitted to In The Game personnel. Boxes MUST have shrinkwrap with the In The Game logo on it to qualify. The redemption card offer extends through all three days of the show or until supplies last. Those receiving one-of-one memorabilia cards are not eligible for the traditional redemption cards numbered out of 10. In The Game reserves the right to limit the quantity of cards per customer.
