In The Game's Most Successful Redemption Program Is Drawing To A Close
For three years now, In The Game has utilized the He Shoots, He Scores decoy/redemption-point card program in nearly every brand of hockey cards released. The benefits are threefold: the card serves as a deterrent against pack searching; it adds an extra collectible element to the product; each card has a point value and points can be exchanged for valuable collectibles.
In nearly every product containing He Shoots, He Scores cards, collectors could gather 400 points and exchange them for a highly-collectible game-used memorabilia card (sequentially-numbered to 20) of an NHL star. These memorabilia cards are not available in packs. In the case of 2002-03 Be A Player Signature Series, however, we decided to try something different. Instead of offering game-used memorabilia cards as a redemption prize, we decided to make autographed memorabilia available. This was especially fitting given the fact this was the "Signature" Series. The lineup of merchandise was impressive and included autographed 8" by 10" photos (250 points), autographed replica jerseys (600 points), and autographed game-model jerseys (1,000 points) from Be A Player Authentix. A wide array of big-name NHL stars was represented. Nearly all of the autographed photos are gone but there is still an impressive selection of game-model jerseys featuring stars like Roberto Luongo, Marian Hossa, Milan Hejduk, Sergei Fedorov, and Curtis Joseph. Hundreds of game-model autographed jerseys and many hundreds of autographed 8" by 10" photos have been redeemed to date. However, all good things must come to an end. This is the longest He Shoots, He Scores redemption program we have ever run but as of April 30, it is over. Now is your final opportunity to get your points in and take advantage of this program. Packages with 2002-03 Signature Series points cards must be postmarked by April 30 or earlier to be eligible. For complete details on the program, click here. |
