Toronto Sportcard & Memorabilia Spring Expo

In The Game is pleased to announce that we will continue our long tradition of attending the Toronto Sportcard & Memorabilia Spring Expo from May 4 to 6, 2007.

In The Game will hold our popular Wrapper Redemption Program featuring our 2006-07 products. This time we’ve really raised the bar by giving our valued customers even more great choices to add to their collections. As if the usual one-of-one memorabilia cards, base cards numbered out of 10 and special show-only memorabilia cards wouldn’t be enough, In The Game is proud to announce the Maple Leafs Forever Redemption Card collection.

With the glorious history of Toronto’s Team at the top of everyone’s mind during the 40th Anniversary Year of their last Stanley Cup victory, In The Game will offer collectors a chance to obtain special game-used memorabilia cards from the all-new Maple Leafs Forever collection. This exciting 25-card collection covers the club's incredible history and each card contains a piece of game-used gear from some legendary players such as Dave Keon, Frank Mahovlich and Wendel Clark!

Obtaining one of these cards is simple. By opening a pack of In The Game-Used International Ice or a hobby box of 2006-07 Heroes and Prospects or 2006-07 Between The Pipes, you can choose to receive one of these phenomenal cards! They will be limited to 25 copies each and are sure to be highly sought-after.

Here's how the rest of the Spring Expo Wrapper Redemption Program will meet the needs of our collectors:

In The Game-Used International Ice Signature Series
International Ice was one of this season's most popular releases. Collectors opening a pack of International Ice can have their choice of receiving a show-stamped one-of-one Game-Used Memorabilia card from this product, an exclusive International Ice card limited to 25 copies that will only be available at the Spring Expo or a Maple Leafs Forever card. The impressive list of players in this International Ice Exclusive Set can be found below.

Heroes and Prospects
In The Game will also be producing one-of-one versions of game-used memorabilia cards from the 2006-07 Heroes and Prospects product that bears a special foil stamp exclusive to the Spring Expo. In order to obtain one of these special cards, collectors will need to open one sealed Hobby box of 2006-07 Heroes and Prospects or two 2006-07 Heroes and Prospects Update Sets. If a collector prefers to redeem the 2006-07 Arena Version, they will need to open two sealed boxes.

Base set cards from 2006-07 Heroes and Prospects and Update Set along with non-memorabilia inserts will be included in the Redemption Program. Collectors that open one 2006-07 Hobby pack or two 2006-07 Arena packs can exchange their wrapper for a specially-stamped card. All 200 base cards plus the non-memorabilia insert sets have been stamped and numbered to 10. Collectors opening a Hobby box or two Arena boxes can receive 24 or 12 cards respectively.

Between The Pipes
The hobby has been buzzing about the game-used memorabilia cards found in packs of the 2006-07 edition of Between The Pipes and they will have an opportunity to obtain special one-of-one versions of these cards exclusive to the Spring Expo.

In addition to this, In The Game will also be producing a 10-card special Game-Used Memorabilia collection that will be limited to 25 copies per card. There will be some huge names in this set and collectors will be able to choose one of these instead of the one-of-one cards. See the complete checklist below.

The complete Between The Pipes base set and non-memorabilia insert cards will also have a special show parallel limited to 10 copies each. Collectors will receive one card for each pack that they open at the booth.

All boxes and packs must be opened at the same time and all wrappers must be submitted to In The Game personnel. Boxes MUST have shrink-wrap with the In The Game logo on it to qualify. The redemption card offer extends through all three days of the show or while supplies last. Those receiving one-of-one or show-exclusive memorabilia cards are not eligible for the traditional redemption cards numbered out of 10. In The Game reserves the right to limit the quantity of cards per customer. Box tops for 2006-07 Heroes and Prospects products opened at the booth will be marked in order to exclude them from the current Box Top promotion.
