In The Game Rewards Collectors Patience: Heroes and Prospects Update Notice
In The Game wants to apologize to collectors for the continued delay in releasing the 2007-08 Heroes and Prospects Update Set. Due to the lateness of receiving photographs and autographs, this product has incurred several unfortunate delays. We appreciate our collectors' patience and want to reward their patience by including BOTH an autograph card AND a game-used memorabilia card in each set instead of the traditional autograph card OR game-used memorabilia card. Now each set will contain a 50-card base set, one autograph card and one game-used memorabilia card. The new release date is June 30th. To order your Update Set click here. Luc Bourdon 1987-2008
We have been deeply saddened by the news that Luc Bourdon has passed away suddenly. We were proud to have a player of his talent and character associated with In The Game. The following story highlights what set Luc apart. It is always a challenge to get players to return their signed cards to us. The players are busy. They're traveling all the time. In Luc's case, his cards were sent to Winnipeg where he was playing, but he was called up to Vancouver. Instead of just shrugging his shoulders, Luc sent a key to his apartment by courier to a friend in Winnipeg who retrieved the cards from Luc's apartment. The friend then sent the cards to Vancouver where Luc signed them and then sent them to us the same day so we could make our product deadline. That was our experience with this fine young man. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. |
