Franchise
In The Game is pleased to announce the
latest in its Limited Edition Superlative Series, Superlative Franchise.
Superlative Franchise pays tribute to
one of the most successful franchises in all of professional sports, the
Toronto Maple Leafs.
There will be 1,600 hand-numbered books
released with each book containing seven limited cards including a minimum or
three hard-signed autographs.
Vintage
Base Card Set
There will be one Vintage Base Card in
each book. There are 32 cards in the Vintage Base Card set.
Modern
Base Card Set
There
will be one Modern Base Card in each book. There are 45 different cards in the
Modern Base Card set.
Autograph
Cards
All of the Autograph Cards in
Superlative Franchise will be hard-signed. For the first time in a Superlative
product, there will be Double and Triple Autograph Cards.
Special
Inserts
Each Special Insert card is limited to
nine blue versions and one gold version or is a 1/1.

Heroes and Prospects Update Set Now On Sale
Collectors should note that the 2008-09
Heroes and Prospects Update set in on sale at the IN THE GAME online store (click here).
This year's Update Set features a 50
card base set along with an autograph card. The checklist of the autograph
cards looks like a preview of the 2009 Draft. John Tavares will be featured on
three different autograph cards in his new London Knights jersey.

Spring Expo Plans Starting to be Unveiled
The plans for the Redemption Program at
the Spring Expo are starting to come together. There will be a redemption for
all Superlative Products including; Superlative Volume I, Superlative Bleu
Blanc et Rouge and Superlative Franchise.
There will also be a Ultimate
Redemption for special Ultimate Player game-used memorabilia cards. These cards
will not be found in any other ITG product. The Ultimate Player cards will
feature three, four, five and six pieces of memorabilia from many of hockey's
greatest players. More details will follow.
We will also have a program for both
the 2008-09 Heroes and Prospect and Between The Pipes featuring show-stamped
1/1 memorabilia cards.

Error on Between The Pipes Checklist
In The Game sincerely apologizes for an
error that was made on the posting of the Game-Used Memorabilia Insert numbers
for Between The Pipes.
The Roots insert checklist should be
amended to add R-11 Georges Vezina. R-11 is the limited card in this checklist
and only has a gold 1/1 version.
Previously we listed R-1Terry Sawchuk
as the limited card in this checklist. R-1 Terry Sawchuk has 9 silver versions
and 1 gold version.
