With the 2011 NHL Entry Draft just completed, fans around the world are talking about the game's hottest young players and many of these young men are about to see all their hard work rewarded as they embark on their professional careers.
In The Game continues the always-popular Heroes and Prospects base set
with 50 more cards featuring prime prospects from the AHL and CHL in
addition to Heroes cards of recent signees Eric Lindros and Theoren
Fleury in their junior uniforms.
Each boxed set will also contain one game-used Autograph card and a limited Game-Used Memorabilia card.
This season's lineup for signatures in the Update Set include some of
the game's hottest prospects and first round picks like Gabriel
Landeskog, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Adam Larsson in addition to some
Heroes and AHL Grads. Look for highly desirable cards featuring Conn
Smythe and Vezina Trophy winner Tim Thomas, Bobby Ryan and Zdeno Chara.
On the memorabilia side, collectors will be able to find more Game-Used
Jersey cards in addition to Number and Emblem versions. Heroes
Memorabilia also continues in the Update Set and Draft Class, which is
an all-new collection of game-used swatches, features some of the best
players in junior hockey that are sure to hear their names called by pro
teams on June 24.
The 2010-11 Heroes and Prospects Update Set is currently available for
sale for $39.95 (US funds) on the official In The Game website.
Collectors may also send in 10 2010-11 Heroes and Prospects wrappers
with their order to bring the price down to $34.95.
Once again this year, supplies will be very limited and this release often sells out quickly.
