ANNOUNCING THE 2003-04 IN THE GAME-ACTION/MEMORABILIA SERIES UPDATE SET

Although we initially had no plans to produce an update set this year, we have been overwhelmed with emails, letters and telephone calls asking us to reconsider. We'll we did.

We are now pleased to announce our final product for the 2003-04 hockey card season. This 100-card offering consists of 50 In The Game-Action cards (numbered from 625 to 674) and 50 Be A Player Memorabilia cards (numbered from 201-250).

The set is loaded with rookie cards, 41 in In The Game-Action, and 36 in the Memorabilia Series for a total of 77 rookie cards in the set. Some of the game's blue-chip prospects such as Kari Lehtonen, Nikolai Zherdev, and Brad Boyes appear in both In The Game-Action and Memorabilia Series.

The remaining players consist of recently traded high-profile veterans with extra emphasis on members of the Stanley Cup Finalists, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Calgary Flames. Included in the 100-card set are two cover/checklist cards. Click here for an Update checklist.

These sets are available online at a cost of $29 per set including shipping and handling (U.S funds) or 40 per set including shipping and handling (Canadian funds). For those who want to buy multiple sets, the second set is $25 US or $35 Canadian and any additional sets are $20 US and $27.50 Canadian. To place your order, click here.

As an added bonus, collectors can look for special one-of-one Gold parallel versions of the original 200-card 2003-04 Be A Player Memorabilia Series base set randomly inserted in these Update sets. The player lineup includes Mario Lemieux, Steve Yzerman, Ilya Kovalchuk, Jarome Iginla, Patrick Roy, Martin Brodeur, Marc-André Fleury and Tuomo Ruutu.

Last year's Be A Player Memorabilia Update set quickly increased in value soon after release and the supply rapidly dried up. Get yours early and don't be disappointed.
