Each jersey features the work of Burlington, Ontario artist Mike James. Many of the jerseys are autographed. Each is a spectacular one-of-a-kind collectible. Each week, for the next 25 weeks, we will choose a winner from all entries received by a random draw. Winners will be contacted directly and will also be announced on this web page.

Brush With Greatness, a 25-card insert set available in the 2003-04 Be A Player Memorabilia Series, features the work of Burlington, Ontario artist Mike James. The set includes an array of today's NHL greats combined with hockey icons from the past. We have no doubt you will be impressed with James' work. His ability to not only capture the likeness, but also the essence of each player, is uncanny.

There are two versions of all 25 cards. First, there is a foil version which is actually the more scarce version of the two. Aside from a special foil treatment on the card front, the card back is highlighted by a list of several major accomplishments by the player on a unique design featuring a painter's palette. These are a challenging pull, but also highly collectible.

The second version of the Brush With Greatness inserts is more plentiful and also serves as part of the contest entry requirements. To become eligible, simply mail your Brush With Greatness contest entry insert along with an index card that includes your name and full address to In The Game. Please be sure to print neatly.

The respective U.S. and Canadian addresses are printed on the back of each Brush With Greatness card. Each Brush With Greatness card represents one chance to win the hand-painted game-model jersey of the player depicted on the front of the card. You may enter as many times as you like, but insert entry cards will not be returned. Remember, each jersey is one-of-a-kind so once we have awarded a specific jersey, all Brush With Greatness cards received after the respective draw date will not be eligible.
