Entering our fifth season, this year's Heroes and Prospect might just be the best yet. Doesn't seem like five years ago that ITG created this unique product.

Heroes and Prospects has featured prospects that are now part of the Hockey Establishment; Alexander Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Carey Price. All of these great players are Heroes and Prospects Graduates.

Now here's a little information on the 2008-09 version of Heroes and Prospects:

The base and autograph cards feature two stunning, new retro designs. The 100-card Base Card checklist includes a who's who of International, American Hockey League and Canadian Hockey League prospects.

This year's game-used memorabilia cards are dynamite. The insert sets include; Game-used Jersey, Game-used Number, Game-used Emblem, Prospect Combos, Heroes Memorabilia (this year with an autographed version), Selects, ADT Triple Memorabilia, Top Prospects Jersey, Emblem and Number, Gloves are Off, Complete Jersey, Complete Logo, Hero and Prospect, Auto/Jersey, Auto/Number and Auto/Emblem.

Heroes and Prospects will now include Made to Order cards for the very first time. Lucky collectors will be able to put together their very own cards featuring their favorite Heroes and Prospects.

Autograph collectors won't be disappointed. There are over 90 different Autograph Cards in the 2008-09 Heroes and Prospects.

Prospect Autograph Cards include; Victor Hedman, John Tavares, Steven Stamkos, Drew Doughty,

The very popular He Shoots, He Scores Decoy/Redemption Card Program will be available once again. One redemption card will be included in each pack that does not contain a game-used memorabilia card. These extra-thick cards help deter pack searching and each comes with a value of one point. Collectors who accumulate 250 points will have the opportunity to redeem them for unique and limited game-used memorabilia cards which are not available in packs.

We will be releasing Heroes and Prospects in December 2008. Each box will contain 24 packs; a pack will contain five cards plus one decoy or game-used memorabilia card. Production this year will be limited so don't delay in ordering yours.
