Toronto 2000 All-Star Fantasy Wrapper Redemption Program, February 2-6, 2000

Our wrapper redemption program took place during the five days of NHL Fantasy. The wrapper redemption was completed for that day once all of the special redemption cards were given out. We reserved the right to restrict the redemption in order to allow more collectors to participate in the program. Each day a different set of redemption cards were used. The cards were from the Be A Player Millennium Signature series. Each card was crash numbered out of 25, and had the Toronto 2000 All-Star logo on the upper right hand corner of the card. Wednesday: Silver redemption set; Thursday: Ruby redemption set; Friday: Sapphire redemption set; Saturday: Emerald redemption set; Sunday: Gold redemption set.

Fall Expo, Toronto November 10-12th, 2000

Toronto again proved to be exceptionally successful. Redemptions on Friday (copper) ran out at 8:30 on Saturday (ruby) redemptions ran out at 2:50 and on Sunday (gold) redemptions ran out at 1:45. Some great cards were pulled out of packs. Three Vezina Pad cards, one Gretzky/Lemieux Patented Power, two Lemieux memorabilia cards (one signed and one unsigned), a Sawchuk/Roy goalie memorabilia card, several limited signature cards and one Gretzky Emblem card from the 1999-2000 Memorabilia Series. Collectors were delighted to view the inserts from the Rookie and Traded Memorabilia Update Set. Thanks to Al Sinclair for a well-run show, attendance was phenomenal.

Chicago Sun-Times Show, November 17-19th, 2000

In The Game, Inc. participated in its second Chicago Sun-Times Show at the Rosemont Convention Center. The redemption program was very successful. On Friday ruby redemption cards were used, on Saturday-sapphire and on Sunday-gold. This was our third show in Chicago and was our best yet. Many new customers were introduced to the Be A Player brand.

Montreal Olympic Stadium Show, October 20-22, 2000

In The Game, Inc. successfully completed our second redemption program at the Montreal Olympic Stadium show. Featuring the 2000-01 Be A Player Memorabilia series, each card was numbered out of ten. Each day featured a different color redemption card; Friday-, Saturday- and Sunday-gold. Thank you to all our dealers and collectors for making this one of the best Redemption Programs to date.

Japan Sports Card Association-August 2000

In The Game, Inc. is pleased to announce our first International Redemption Program. This program will take place as part of the Japan Sports Card Association. The redemption dates are 20th August 20th, 2000 in Tokyo, August 27th, 2000 in Nagoya and September 10th, 2000 in Hakata. The redemption cards will feature one set Millennium Signature Series number to 10 for all three shows.

Sportsfest: Chicago, Illinois August 17th, 2000

In The Game, Inc. ran its most successful Redemption Program to date at the Sportsfest in Chicago. Coinciding with the launch of the Be A Player 2000-2001 Memorabilia Series, dealers and collectors alike broke pack, box and wrappers at the Be A Player booth. Four days of pack opening produced many valuable insert cards and numbered redemption cards of the newly issued Memorabilia Series number to 10. Several signed Lemieux cards were pulled along with many star player cards. (see below). In The Game, Inc. looks forward to next year's Sportsfest.

The National: Anaheim, California July 27-30, 2000

The Redemption Program at the National in Anaheim was a great success. On Sunday, dealers were forced to stop selling product for redemption at 2:00PM since of the limited redemption cards had been redeemed. The staff at the Be A Player booth could not have been more pleased. "Sunday was the busiest the booth has been since the All-Star Game in Toronto," said David Wasserman. "I couldn't believe the lineups at our booth: It was just fan-tastic!"

Canadian Spring Expo Redemption Program: Toronto, Ontario May 5-7, 2000

Be A Player sponsored a redemption program at the Canadian Spring Expo in Toronto, May 5-7, 2000. The Redemption Program featured three versions of the Millennium Signature Series cards gold-foil stamped to commemorate the 2000 Spring Expo. On Friday May 5th the silver version was featured. On Saturday May 6th the ruby version was featured. On Sunday May 7th the gold version was featured. Each version was limited and numbered to 20 of each card.

All-Star Fantasy Redemption Program: Toronto, Ontario February 2-5, 2000

Five versions (silver, ruby, sapphire, emerald and gold) of the Millennium Signature Series were redeemed. Each card was numbered out of 25. Each card was stamped with the Fantasy logo and the card number.

Chicago Sun Times Sportscard Show: Chicago, Illinois March 24-26, 2000

Three versions (ruby, sapphire and gold) of the Millennium Signature Series were redeemed. Each card was numbered out of 10 and stamped with the show logo.

Redemption Program Winner! Jordon Kalasky from Wheaton, IL bought one 1999 Be A Player Memorabilia pack and one 2000 Be A Player Memorabilia pack from Power Play Collectibles, Miami, FL. He pullled a Gretzky Emblem Card.

Redemption Program Winner! Jason Wilder from Wilders' Sportscards in Michigan pulled a signed Mario Lemieux Memorabilia card (#L9 with a double swatch) as well as a Bure/Jagr Patented Power card (PP#3).
